Arsenal Women defeated Brazilian side Corinthians 3-2 after extra time to win the first ever FIFA Women's Champions Cup at Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal Women secured the inaugural FIFA Women's Champions Cup on Sunday, defeating Brazilian champions Corinthians 3-2 after extra time. The historic final took place at Emirates Stadium in London, drawing an attendance of 25,031 spectators.

Olivia Smith gave Arsenal an early lead in the 15th minute. Corinthians responded through Gabi Zanotti in the 21st minute, levelling the score before half-time. Lotte Wubben-Moy restored Arsenal's advantage in the 58th minute, but Vic Albuquerque converted a penalty deep into stoppage time to force extra time for the Brazilian side.

Caitlin Foord scored the decisive goal in the 104th minute, slotting past the Corinthians goalkeeper. This victory marks Arsenal's first piece of silverware this season and crowns them as the world's premier women's club team, according to FIFA. The tournament featured champion clubs from six continental confederations.
