Under manager Kim Hellberg, appointed in late November, Middlesbrough have accumulated 31 points from 14 games. Over the same period, Coventry City have earned 19 points, resulting in a 12-point swing between the two clubs. Hellberg's side has won ten of their 14 league matches since his arrival.
Coventry had been considered a leading Championship team for much of the season but have recently experienced a dip in form. Middlesbrough are set to face Coventry City in their next fixture.
