Real Madrid striker Endrick's impressive form on loan at Lyon is fuelling his ambition to represent Brazil at the 2026 World Cup.

Brazilian forward Endrick, 19, has made a significant impact since joining Lyon on a season-long loan from Real Madrid. The move was intended to provide the striker with regular playing time, which had been limited at his parent club under manager Xabi Alonso.

Endrick quickly found form, scoring on his debut in Lyon's 2-1 Coupe de France victory against Lille. He later netted a hat-trick during a 5-2 Ligue 1 win away to Metz. The teenager has registered five goals and one assist in six appearances for the French side.

This impressive run has boosted Endrick's prospects for a place in Carlo Ancelotti's Brazil squad for the 2026 World Cup. Endrick stated his dream is to play in the tournament and help Brazil win, viewing Lyon as an "ideal club" for his career development. His agent confirmed Endrick will return to Real Madrid at the end of the current loan spell.
