Fulham Nears Deal for Man City Winger Bobb

Football

Fulham is nearing an agreement to sign Norwegian winger Oscar Bobb from fellow Premier League club Manchester City.

Fulham is closing on a deal to sign Manchester City winger Oscar Bobb. The Premier League clubs are discussing a permanent transfer for the 22-year-old Norway international. A fee of around £30 million to £35 million is reportedly under negotiation, with terms expected to close early this week.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola indicated that Bobb wishes to leave the club. Bobb's playing opportunities at City have been limited this season due to a serious injury suffered at the start of the 2024/25 campaign and increased competition for places. The recent arrival of Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth further impacted his prospects at the Etihad Stadium. Fulham appears to be leading the race for his signature, despite previous interest from German club Borussia Dortmund. This move would offer Bobb a route to regular Premier League football.
