The Norwegian international has scored only three goals in his last 10 appearances, with just one from open play in the Premier League since December 20. Haaland himself admitted he needs to improve his output, refusing to blame fatigue for his recent form.
Guardiola praised Haaland's desire to help the team, noting he "suffers" when he does not score. The manager added that Haaland's current form is part of a young player's development and due to a demanding fixture calendar. Haaland has netted 28 times in 36 games across all competitions this season.
