Teenager Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba scored his first senior goal for Aston Villa, securing a Europa League victory against RB Salzburg.

Aston Villa's 19-year-old attacking midfielder, Jamaldeen Jimoh-Aloba, scored a dramatic late winner in the UEFA Europa League. The teenager, described as "shy and nervous" by teammate Morgan Rogers, netted his first senior goal for the club against RB Salzburg.

Villa staged a remarkable comeback at Villa Park on Thursday, 29 January, after trailing the Austrian side 2-0. Goals from Morgan Rogers and Tyrone Mings brought the home side level before Jimoh-Aloba, a substitute, calmly rolled home Kadan Young's pass in the 87th minute to complete the 3-2 victory.

The win ensured Aston Villa finished second in their Europa League group, guaranteeing a place in the last 16 of the competition. Jimoh-Aloba joined Villa's academy from West Bromwich Albion in August 2023 and made his senior debut in the EFL Cup in September 2024. He also made his Premier League debut in December 2025.
