London City Lionesses are set to complete a permanent deal for Denmark midfielder Malou Marcetto from Madrid CFF.

London City Lionesses are set to complete the permanent signing of Denmark international midfielder Malou Marcetto. The 22-year-old will join the Women's Super League club from Spanish side Madrid CFF. Marcetto, whose full name is Malou Marcetto Rylov, plays as a central midfielder and was born on 16 April 2003. Her career has seen her play for Danish club Brøndby and French team Dijon before her move to Madrid CFF in 2024.

This transfer marks another significant acquisition for the London-based club, which operates as the only fully independent team in the Women's Super League. The Lionesses gained promotion to the WSL in May 2025 and have been actively strengthening their squad. Their owner, Michele Kang, has invested in the club, allowing for a notable recruitment drive that recently included the signing of France winger Delphine Cascarino. Marcetto's arrival aims to bolster the Lionesses' midfield options as they continue to compete in England's top flight of women's football.
