Celtic visit Aberdeen in Premiership action, while Rangers confirm a new striker and Livingston appoint a new manager.

Aberdeen host Celtic at Pittodrie Stadium on Wednesday, 4 February 2026, in a Scottish Premiership fixture. Celtic, currently second in the league, enter the match unbeaten in seven games. They defeated Falkirk 2-0 in their last outing. Aberdeen, sitting seventh, lost 3-0 to Kilmarnock previously. Celtic have won their last five Premiership encounters against Aberdeen.

Rangers confirmed the signing of German striker Ryan Naderi on a long-term deal in February 2026. The 22-year-old joined from Hansa Rostock for a reported fee of around £4.7 million, according to sources. Naderi scored eight goals and provided five assists in 18 appearances for his former club this season.

Elsewhere, Marvin Bartley became Livingston's new manager on 1 February 2026. He replaced David Martindale, who moved to sporting director. Livingston are bottom of the Premiership table, six points from safety, following a 22-game winless run. Bartley's first match in charge is against Falkirk.
