Danny Rohl's Rangers secured a 3-0 victory over Dundee, reducing the deficit to Scottish Premiership leaders Hearts to four points.

Rangers secured a 3-0 victory over Dundee at Ibrox on Sunday, 25 January, extending their winning run to eight consecutive matches across all competitions. Captain James Tavernier converted a second-half penalty, before substitutes Danilo and Djeidi Gassama added late goals in stoppage time.

This result propelled Rangers into second place in the William Hill Premiership, accumulating 47 points from 23 fixtures. The win narrowed the gap on league leaders Heart of Midlothian to four points, after Hearts drew 2-2 with Celtic at Tynecastle on the same day. Celtic now sit third with 45 points.

Rangers manager Danny Rohl described the performance as a "statement" victory. He stated he was "relishing" Rangers' position as the "hunter" in the Scottish Premiership title race, acknowledging the significant demand for consistent wins at the club.
